About Charleston
• Charleston had a terrific season in 2024 winning 25 games.
• They went 12-3 in the Mountain East regular season, but were ousted in the conference tournament quarterfinals which ended their season.
• Despite their early postseason exit, the Golden Eagles were picked to finish first in the MEC South Division for 2025.
• Charleston has a significant change as Adam Hamad has taken over head coaching duties for the Golden Eagles.
• The Golden Eagles offense had five score more than 200 points, but only two return and none of their top-three.

About West Chester
• West Chester is coming off a 13-15 finish to 2024 where they went 5-9 in the PSAC and failed to make the postseason tournament.
• To start the 2025 season, the Golden Rams were picked to finish sixth in the PSAC East.
• The Golden Rams do return All-PSAC East honoree Zoe Haines who led the team with 280 kills.
• West Chester utilized a pair of setters last year and both Lacie Brown and Megan St. Jean are back in the fold for the new year.

About Millersville
• Picked one spot ahead of West Chester in the PSAC East Coaches Poll is Millersville.
• After a .500 season both overall (15-15) and in the PSAC (7-7), the Marauders were picked to finish fifth this season in the PSAC East.
• Millersville did make the PSAC Tournament last year for the first time since 2019, but were downed in four sets in their opening round game.
• The team looks to get contributions from 2024 PSAC East Freshman of the Year Kylee Schurig.
• While they lost their primary setter, a good chunk of their offense is back in kills lead Taylor Welter and blocks leader Carolina Halsey.
