Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• Georgian Court has not had a good history with Goldey-Beacom.
• The Lions got their first ever win over the Lightning in the 2022-23 season, but are just 1-21 all-time.
• That win came on the road, meaning GCU has to to take down the Lightning playing at home. They're 0-11 in Lakewood.
• The Lightning got the better of the Lions in two close games last year. The first was a 90-84 loss on the road.
Cam Edmonds set a new Georgian Court record scoring 48 points, going 22-28 at the line.
• Playing at home later in the year, the Lions led by four at the half and were up by as much as 13, but lost by five, 76-71. Four Lions were in double-figures and GCU was 9-20 from behind the arc.

The New CACC
• This season, the CACC will have a new look to it. The league currently stands at 11 teams with Bloomfield having departed after the 2024-25 academic year.
• The league has also done away with the North and South Divisions in favor of a single set of standings with all 11 teams.
• Additionally, there's been changes to the league schedule. Teams will now play all CACC opponents twice, once at home and once on the road.
• Georgian Court is finished with their nonconference slate. From here on out, they'll be playing only CACC games.
About Goldey-Beacom
• Overall Goldey-Beacom is two games over .500 at 8-6, however in the CACC they're two games under at 2-4.
• After putting up 105 in a nonconference win over Franklin Pierce, the Lightning fell 81-70 last weekend at Bridgeport.
• The Lightning are one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country, pulling down 16.4 per game which ranks sixth in the country.
• They also force more turnovers than any team in the CACC, as opponents are giving the ball away 18.1 times per game.
• The thievery starts with Emarquis Jones who has 37 this season, second in the CACC and sixth in Division II.
• GBC ranks second as a team in turnover margin and third in rebound margin.
• Goldey-Beacom has three scoring in double-figures this year led by Tre Powell with 17.1. He's a sharp-shooting knocking down 39% from three and 83% at the foul line.
• Brian Blanchet is another to watch from distance. He's 29-74 on the year.
