Philadelphia, PA (Oct. 10th, 2026) - Ella McLaren's first career goal with four minutes left gave Georgian Court Women's Soccer a 1-0 lead over Chestnut Hill.
How it Happened
• Chestnut Hill led in shots 12-10, but the teams were even with seven of those on target.
• Corner kicks were also even with two from each team.
• It was the Griffins who led with fouls 11-10.
• GCU had a slight advantage in the first half, taking six shots compared to Chestnut Hill's five.
• The first half ended with neither team finding the net and a 0-0 tie.
• The second half was another scoreless battle for the majority of the half.
• At the 86th minute, freshman Ella McLaren found the net from an assist from Erynn Richey.
• This goal would be the only goal from either team and gave the Lions a 1-0 win.
