LAKEWOOD, NJ (Oct. 6, 2026) - It'd been a long time coming, but Georgian Court Volleyball finally broke their losing streak Monday night at Millersville. Riding high after their four-set win Georgian Court gets right back into conference play with two home games this week.

Previously vs. Chestnut Hill
• Georgian Court has won four of the last five against Chestnut Hill.
• The matches are hardly easy with six straight finishing in at least four sets with three five-set matches.
• Last year, despite missing the CACC postseason, GCU still swept the Griffins with a 3-2 win on the road and 3-1 win at home.
• Ironically, the Griffins got a win over GCU in 2024, one of just two conference losses for the Lions that year.
• Last year in Philadelphia, the Griffins nearly completed a reverse sweep, but the Lions held on with a 16-14 win in set five, scoring the final three points after being held at match point.

• All-time the Lions are 18-13 against the Chargers with the teams trading wins each of the last six matches.
• The last time a team won consecutive matches was in 2020 which was Georgian Court's ninth straight win over the Chargers.
• The home team has been in control of the series of late. Home teams have won six straight with the last road win coming also in 2020.
