van Eif Becomes First Three-Time All-CACC First Team Selection in Program History; Achouri, Kleiser Also Recognized

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Nov. 4, 2026) – Georgian Court's Gijs van Eif was named to the All-CACC First Team while Yanis Achouri and Noah-Maxim Kleiser earned Second Team honors, the league office announced on Wednesday night during their inaugural Postseason Awards Show.

van Eif earned First Team honors for the third straight season, becoming the first player in the 14-year history of the program to achieve the feat. Known for his prolific goal scoring, the Kortenhoef, Netherlands product added a new dimension to his game in 2026, handing out a career-high eight assists, including a program-record tying three in a win at Pitt-Johnstown. Overall, the senior has 10 goals, eight assists, and 28 points, ranking in the top-3 in all three categories in the conference. He has recorded three braces, which included five-point efforts against Roberts Wesleyan and Chestnut Hill.

Achouri, a Graduate student, has excelled in his role as a defensive midfielder, to earn his first career postseason award. In addition to handing out three assists, he ranks second on the team in minutes played (1,457) while helping the Lions record four shutouts.

Kleiser on the other hand took the league by storm in his debut season. The freshman has four goals and two assists while helping anchor a GCU back line that posted four shutouts. Two of his four goals are game-winners (Monroe and Caldwell).

Achouri and Kleiser are the 14th and 15th different Lion to be named All-CACC in program history. Kleiser is just the second freshman in the history of the program to be named All-Conference, joining Niklas Laenger in 2018.

New this season is a Sportsmanship Team. This team is made up of one student-athlete from each school sponsoring the sport and is chosen by the coaching staff as the player who best personifies sportsmanship in their program. Senior Tim Wilk was selected by Head Coach Dino Raso and his staff.
