LAKEWOOD, NJ (Feb. 21, 2026) - Georgian Court Acrobatics and Tumbling fell to Long Island University 233.430-193.350. 

In the compulsory event to start the meet, Georgian Court scored a 27.650. They scored a 6.550 in the acro portion, followed by a 9.250 in the pyramid, 7.650 in the toss, and a in the tumbling. LIU received a 35.350 in the compulsory event. They got an 8.700 in acro,9.550 in pyramid, 8.900 in toss, and 8.200 in tumbling. 

The Lions started the acro portion with a 7.150 in the 5-element. They finished the event, scoring a 22.300, getting 6.950  points in the 6-element and 8.200 in the 7-element. LIU scored a total of 61.850.

The open pyramid, the Lions scored a 7.650. They scored an 8.900 in the inversion and a 9.45 in the synchronized pyramid for an even total of 26.00. LIU scored a 28.650. 

To start the second half, Georgian Court scored 21.300 in the toss event. They totaled a 7.300 in the 450 Salto, 6.150 in the synchronized, and 7.850 in the open toss. The LIU Sharks received a 23.500. 

The final event before the team event was tumbling. GCU started out with a 5.75 in the duo pass, 5.050 in the trio pass, and 5.00 in the quad pass. In the individual passes, the Lions scored a 6.050 in the aerial pass,  a 7.050 in the 6-element, and a 7.650 in the open pass, giving the Lions a 35.200 total for tumbling. The Sharks received a 45.950.

In the team event, the Lions totaled 60.900 points. The LIU Sharks totaled a 73.480. 

The Lions have their first home meet of 2026 Thursday February 26th at 6 pm.
