LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 8th, 2026) - The Georgian Court Lions Acrobatics & Tumbling 2026 season concluded at Caldwell Cougars, where the Lions fell 215.275 to 198.755. 

In the compulsory event to start the meet, Georgian Court scored a 26.35. They scored a 6.50 in the acro portion, followed by an 8.90 in the pyramid. They followed that with an 8.65 in the toss and a 2.30 in tumbling. Caldwell received a 30.55 in the compulsory event. They got an 8.25 in acro, 9.40 in pyramid, 9.05 in toss, and 3.85 in tumbling. 

In the acro portion, the Lions scored a 7.40 in the 5-element, they scored a 7.00 in the 6-element, which is the third-best of all time, and an 8.05 in the 7-element. The total for acro was 22.45. Caldwell scored an 8.45 in the 5-element, a 7.15 in the 6-element, and a 7.40 in the 7-element for an even total of 23.00. 
 

In the open pyramid, the Lions scored a 25.80; they scored an 8.05 in the inversion, an 8.45, and a 9.30 in the open. Caldwell scored an 8.15 in the open, they scored an 9.05 in the inversion, and a 9.20 in the synchronized pyramid for an even total of 25.95. 

To start the second half, Georgian Court scored 22.85. They totaled a 8.15 in the 450 Salto, 7.45 in the synchronized, and 7.25 in the open. The Caldwell Cougars received a 22.90. 

The final event before the team event was tumbling. GCU started strong with a 6.65 in the duo pass and a 6.60 in the trio pass, which is the third best of all time. They scored a 4.400 in the quad pass. In the individual passes, the Lions scored a 6.500 in the aerial pass, a 7.78 in the 6-element pass, and a 7.850 in the open pass.  Altogether, the Lions totaled 39.775 in tumbling, while the Caldwell finished the event with a 43.825. 

In the team event, the Lions totaled 61.53 points. The Caldwell Cougars totaled a 68.60.
