Wilson, NC (March 10th, 2026) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse defeated Barton 10-4 in the first game of their Spring Break trip. Freshman
Adrianna Mosca netted four goals to help lead the Lions to a win.
How it Happened
• Shots were close with GCU leading 23-19.
• GCU led in turnovers with 20 compared to Barton's 15.
• Barton scooped up 18 ground balls; the Lions had 15.
• Draw controls were close, Lions had 9 and Barton 7.
1st Quarter
• Five minutes into regulation,
Michaela Scirrotto opened up scoring for the Lions.

Caitlin Petrellese found
Adrianna Mosca for the second goal for GCU.
• Two minutes later,
Adrianna Mosca had her second, this time from
Gabrielle Battle.

Jill Konschak gave the Lions a 4-0 lead going into the second quarter. Barton was held scoreless in the first 15 minutes.
2nd Quarter
•
Erynn Richey made it a 5-0 lead from a
Nena Menard assist.
• Barton got on board with about seven minutes remaining in the half, and Julia Erickson found the net.
• Neither team scored in the next seven minutes; the Lions led 5-1 at half.
3rd Quarter
• After five minutes of no scoring,
Jill Konschak gave the Lions a 6-1 lead off a free position shot.

Erynn Richey added another about four minutes later for her second of the game.

Michaela Scirrotto found
Gabrielle Battle to keep the Lions ahead.
• Back-to-back assists for Scirotto, who then found
Adrianna Mosca, and the Lions led 9-1 going into the final quarter.
4th Quarter
• Barton started to heat up, they had two back-to-back goals, hoping to start a run.
• Their final goal would be from
Berghan Balparda with about three minutes remaining.

Adrianna Mosca closed the game for GCU with 15 seconds left; her fourth goal gave the Lions a 10-4 win.
