LAKEWOOD, NJ (Mar.17th, 2026) - Georgian Court Acrobatics and Tumbling came up just short against Kutztown.

In the compulsory event to start the meet, Georgian Court scored a 28.35. They scored a 6.40 in the acro portion, followed by a 8.85 in the pyramid, which is the second highest all time. They followed that with an 8.95 in the toss, and a 4.15 in tumbling, which is the 3rd best all-time. Kutztown received a 28.15 in the compulsory event. They got a 5.70 in acro, 9.35 in pyramid, 8.65 in toss, and 4.45 in tumbling. 

The Lions started the acro portion with an 8.0 in the 5-element. They finished the event, scoring a 22.80, a new GCU record; the Lions got 6.70 in the 6-element and 8.1in the 7-element, which is also a new program record. Kutztown scored a total of 22.50.

In the open pyramid, the Lions scored an 8.90, they scored an 8.55 in the inversion, and a 9.45 in the synchronized pyramid for a total of 26.9. Kutztown scored a 9.15 in the open. They scored a 9.45 in the inversion and a 9.60in the synchronized pyramid for an even total of 28.2.

To start the second half, Georgian Court scored 23.25, which is tied for the 3rd-best all-time. They totaled a 7.15  in the 450 Salto,7.65 in the synchronized, and 8.45, which is the 2nd best of all-time. The Kutztown Bears received a 22.95. 

The final event before the team event was tumbling. GCU started strong with a 7.15 in the duo pass and a 5.95 in the trio pass, while their 4.90 in the quad pass tied the program's second-highest score of all time. In the individual passes, the Lions scored a 7.275 in the aerial pass, a 7.575 in the 6-element pass, and a 7.875 which is the best all-time. Altogether, the Lions totaled 40.725 in tumbling, while the Bears finished the event with a 42.450.

In the team event, the Lions totaled 62.10 points. The Kutztown Bears totaled a 68.280.
