ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY (March 18, 2026) - For the third time in seven games this season, Georgian Court was on the road against a top-20 ranked team in the country. Georgian Court hung with Molloy through one, but the Molloy Lions pulled away in the middle periods of a 16-7 win.
How it Happened
• The faceoff circle is where Molloy made their money. They won 22-27, giving them a number of extra possessions.
• With the extra time on offense, Molloy outshot GCU 54-23, including 32-14 shots on goal.
• Molloy was also on offense thanks to 20 Georgian Court turnovers in the game. Molloy lost the ball 15 times.
• Georgian Court was strong on special teams, converting 2-5 extra-man opportunities and killing off both of their penalties.
1st Quarter
• Molloy scored back-to-back 41 seconds apart midway through the first for a 2-0 lead.

Zach Myers cut the lead in half scoring for GCU.
• Molloy went back up by two shortly after, but the Lions ended the frame with a pair of goals.

Brodie Seaborn again made it a one-goal game with 1:40 to play.
• As the clock was winding down,
Vincent Burns did the work himself to tie game at three with just five seconds left in the period.
2nd Quarter
• Molloy untied the game less than a minute into the second period.
• That was the start of seven straight goals for Molloy who outscored the Lions 5-0 in the second.
• GCU goalkeeper
Vincent Burkhart was under heavy duress in the frame. While he allowed five goals, he also made six saves.
• Georgian Court had just two shots on target in the quarter.
• A goal with four seconds left before the half put Molloy up five, 8-3.
3rd Quarter
• Starting the second half, Molloy padded their lead scoring twice in the first five minutes.
• Molloy kept GCU off the board for almost 30 minutes of game time between the second and third periods.
• Myers scored his second of the game on the power play to stop GCU from getting held without a goal for a second straight quarter.
4th Quarter
• Less than a minute into the fourth, Molloy made it an 11-4 game.
• Georgian Court though rallied a bit scoring three straight.

Harrison Jordan and
Tyler Burns scored 14 seconds apart.
• On another power play,
Drew Barocas took advantage to make it 11-7 with 7:10 left to play.
• Molloy's defense tightened and didn't allow a goal the rest of the game.
• Meanwhile their offense finished the game scoring five straight for a 16-7 win.
