LAKEWOOD, NJ (Mar.24th, 2026) - In the last home meet of the 2026 season, the Lions fell to the Caldwell Cougars. 

In the compulsory event to start the meet, Georgian Court scored a 26.15. They scored a 6.20 in the acro portion, followed by an 8.80 in the pyramid. They followed that with an 8.30 in the toss and a 2.15 in tumbling. Caldwell received a 28.50 in the compulsory event. They got a 7.75 in acro, 7.40 in pyramid, 8.85 in toss, and 5.55 in tumbling. 

In the acro portion, the Lions scored an 8.50 in the 5-element, they scored a 6.75 in the 6-element, a 8.30 in the 7-element, which is the third-best of all time. The total for acro was 23.55, which is the second-best of all time. Caldwell scored a 7.75 in the 5-element, they scored a 7.40 in the 6-element, and a 7.25 in the 7-element for an even total of 22.40. 
 

In the open pyramid, the Lions scored a 24.20; they scored a 6.05 in the inversion, a 9.0, and a 9.15 in the open. Caldwell scored an 8.65 in the open, they scored an 8.80 in the inversion, and an 8.50 in the synchronized pyramid for an even total of 25.95. 

To start the second half, Georgian Court scored 22.15. They totaled a 7.45 in the 450 Salto, 6.80 in the synchronized, and 7.90. The Caldwell Cougars received a 22.15. 

The final event before the team event was tumbling. GCU started strong with a 6.8 in the duo pass and a 6.35 in the trio pass, which is the second of all time. They scored a 4.95 in the quad pass. In the individual passes, the Lions scored a 7.025 in the aerial pass, a 6.575 in the 6-element pass, and a 7.875, which ties for first of all time. Altogether, the Lions totaled 39.575 in tumbling, while the Caldwell finished the event with a 43.375.

In the team event, the Lions totaled 49.40 points. The Caldwell Cougars totaled a 67.90.
