PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 28, 2026) - Georgian Court Men's Lacrosse suffered a set back at the hands of Holy Family Saturday afternoon. The Tigers scored five straight in the first and never looked back in a 12-9 win.
How it Happened
• Georgian Court finished on top in shot, most of that coming in the fourth quarter, 39-38. They led in shots on goal 25-23.Â
• Both teams had five extra-man opportunities. HFU cashed in on three and the Lions just one.
• GCU dominated on faceoffs, winning 16-24.
• Turnovers really hurt the Lions. They lost the ball 28 times and were just 13-22 on clear attempts.
1st Quarter
• It was Georgian Court who opened the scoring.
Brodie Seaborn scored for GCU in the first minute.
• Then Holy Family took charge. They quickly tied it and took a 2-1 lead at the five minute mark.
• The Tigers kept the pressure on, getting three more goals and bumping the lead to 5-1.

Zach Myers and the Lions trailed by three after one, 5-2.
• Holy Family made four saves in net and were helped out by seven Georgian Court turnovers.Â
2nd Quarter
• After each team scored once early in the frame, HFU went on another run.
• They scored three goals in 90 seconds, the third playing man-up, and the Tigers went up 9-3.
• It looked like the half might end with the Tigers up six, but GCU got one back in the final minute.

Harrison Jordan scored on a feed from Myers and it was 9-4 Tigers at the midway point.
3rd Quarter
• It took more than 10 minutes for either team to light the lamp in the second half.
• Seaborn got his second of the game to make it 9-5 Tigers.
• Seaborn scored another three minutes later, but that surrounded another Tiger goal.
• In the final minute, Holy Family scored and they kept the lead at five, 11-6.
4th Quarter
• Holy Family was doing all the could to run the clock out while GCU was throwing everything they could at the net.

Tyler Burns brought GCU closer with a goal in the first minute.
• Seaborn put in another goal a few minutes later. Â
• Midway through the period, Myers scored and suddenly it was an 11-9 game.
• The Tiger defense stiffened though and didn't allow a goal the rest of the way.
• HFU scored again the closing second to cap off the 12-9 win.

Zach Myers totaled five points with two goals and three assists.

Harrison Jordan added two goals and two assists with three ground balls.

Daniel Devitt won 15-21 faceoff with eight ground balls.

•
Vincent Burkhart made 11 saves.
