Philadelphia, PA(April 21, 2026) - The Lions, who led by one goal at halftime, lost to Jefferson after the Rams went on a 7–2 run in the second half.
How it Happened
• The Rams had 36 shots compared to the Lions 12.
• GCU led in turnovers with 27, and Jefferson had 17.
• Ground balls were in favor of the Rams 24-14.
• Draw controls were close with Jefferson leading 10-8.
1st Quarter
• About two minutes into the game, the Lions struck first with a goal from
Caitlin Petrellese.
• It was not long before Jefferson answered back with their first goal of the day.
• Forty seconds later, Petrellese had her second goal of the day.
• Five scoreless minutes later for both teams came to a close after Jefferson tied the score at two.
2nd Quarter
• The first goal of the second quarter came from
Gabrielle Battle, assisted by
Jill Konschak.

Again, Jefferson answered back, as Meaghan Avanzato scored in a man-up situation.
• A minute before going into half,
Gabrielle Battle put the Lions up by one, Lions led 4-3.
3rd Quarter
• Jefferson was able to tie the game just a minute into the second half.
• The Rams were able to score two more goals over the next six minutes.

Nena Menard and
Michaela Scirrotto evened the game again for GCU with their goals.
• The Rams ended the quarter on another 2-0 run.
4th Quarter
• Lilly Lutz put Jefferson up three just thirty seconds into the final quarter.
• Jefferson's final goal came at the 5:20 mark.
• The Rams defeated GCU 10-6.
