Lakewood, NJ (April 25, 2026) - The Georgian Court Lions closed out their regular season with a 9–4 loss to the Dominican Chargers, who secured the top spot as regular-season champions.
How it Happened
• Dominican had 23 shots compared to the Lions 15.
• Turnovers were close, with the Lions having 23 to the Chargers 20.
• Groundballs were in favor of DUNY, who had 19, and GCU had 16.
• Dominican was in control of the draw control, leading 11-4.
• Lions had 10 cards in the game, and Dominican had eight.
1st Quarter
• Madison Mileti opened up scoring for the game, she scored just two minutes in to get Dominican on the board.
• Two of her teammates followed along, and Dominican was up three with seven minutes left in the first quarter.
• The Lions were held without a shot until the 5:55 mark, when
Caitlin Petrellese finally tested Dominican goalkeeper Daniela Parisi, who made the save.
• GCU had two more opportunities in the quarter and was unable to capitalize.
2nd Quarter
• After a slow start for both teams, the Lions struck first in the quarter as

• Dani Cox gave DUNY their first and only goal of the quarter with 2:13 remaining.

Nena Menard had a free-position opportunity to cut the lead to one, but Daniela Parisi made a big save for the Chargers before halftime.

DUNY's Madison Mileti then had two goals within two minutes to extend their lead by four.

• The quarter opened with another goal from Madison Mileti.

• The Chargers final goal came from Madison Mileti and they lead by six.
