Lions Head To Dominican For CACC Semi-Finals

LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 29, 2026) - After facing Dominican this past Saturday, the Georgian Court University women's lacrosse team will travel to Orangeburg, New York, for a rematch against the Chargers. Last season, Dominican defeated the Lions in the conference semifinals and went on to capture the championship, adding extra motivation for Georgian Court heading into this match up.

• This 2026 match up will be the two teams fifth straight postseason meeting.
• In these last four match ups Dominican is 3-1. 
• That includes a Lions 20-5 loss last season in the semi-finals. 
• Just four days ago, these two teams met for the final game of the regular season. 
The Lions limited the Chargers to just nine goals, their second-lowest output of the season, but were only able to score four times themselves.
• It was a defensive battle for both teams, with the Lions also recording their lowest-scoring game of the season.

• CACC playoffs began, and the Lions took on the Bridgeport Purple Knights.

• The Lions posted five goals in the second quarter and six in the third to pull away from Bridgeport.
• The Lions defeated the No.5 Bridgeport 17-6 in the opening round of the CACC playoffs.
