Previously vs. Monroe
• This is the first ever game between Georgian Court and Monroe. 

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court almost pulled off a reverse sweep of Queens Thursday night.
• The Lions dropped the first two sets before coming back to win the next two and force a fifth.
• Even in the fifth set, the Lions almost pulled off a miraculous comeback. Queens led 14-9 and Georgian Court held off match point for four straight points.
• A Lions service error though ended the rally and the game, 15-13 in favor of the Knights.
• Ava Churnesky was a dig-shy of a double-double with 14 kills and five aces.

• The Lions 1.64 blocks per set are third in the CACC while their 77 total blocks lead the conference. 
• Georgian Court is also tops in the league with 655 digs. 
• Carmen Rivera Colon's 191 digs are second in the CACC and her 4.44 digs per set are third. 
• Flavia Pecora is third in the conference with 0.85 blocks per set. 
• Ava Churnesky is in the top-10 in kills, points and aces per set. 
• Maggy Hallihan is up to sixth in the league in total assists while Roshell Chevres Sanchez is 10th.

• Carmen Rivera Colon matched a career-high with 30 digs against Kutztown last week and is averaging more than four digs per set this week. 
• Flavia Pecora is hitting .479 over her last four matches.
• Maggy Hallihan is averaging 19.5 assists in her last two matches.
• Kathymar Leboy Negron hit a season-best six kills at Jefferson. 

Individual Milestones
• Carmen Rivera Colon is 20 digs away from moving to fourth all-time in GCU history in total digs.
• Flavia Pecora is 22 kills short of 100.
• Kyla Davis is 10 blocks away from 100 in her career. 
• Maggy Hallihan needs four assists to get to 300 and three aces for 25.

About Monroe
• Monroe is in an interesting place this season. They're joining the CACC, but are currently in a schedule alliance with the conference.
• The Mustangs will have a typical CACC North schedule, however those games for both the Mustangs and their opponents, will not count towards CACC standings. 
• Monroe is still in the provisional stage of joining NCAA Division II from the NJCAA. 
• Monroe is also the former school of GCU's Flavia Pecora. She was an NJCAA All-American while playing for the Mustangs. 
• This season, Monroe is 4-3 but have dropped their last two matches.
• They've played some similar opponents to the Lions with a win over St. Thomas Aquinas and loss to American International. They did take Mercy to five sets, but were themselves reverse swept.
• The Mustangs are hitting .157 as a team led by Thais Chantal Cocly Vasquez who's hitting .302 and averaging 2.73 kills per set.
• Monroe is putting down more than two aces per set at 2.44. Alisha Pereira Rodriguez-Wells have a team-best 16 aces.
