• It was hard to forget last year's match with the Cougars that saw Georgian Court win 3-2 in Lakewood.
• Trailing 2-1 in the match and down 21-13 in set four, the Lions staged a miraculous comeback, outscoring Caldwell 12-2 down the stretch to steal the set before winning 15-7 in set five.
• The win gave the Lions three straight over the Cougars and upped their all-time record to 19-6. 
• It was Emily Hauptvogel that led the charge with 14 kills and 13 digs.
• Setter Iciar Zayas found success with four kills on five attempts in addition to a 14-assist, 10-dig double-double.
• While GCU is 11-1 against Caldwell at home, they're just 7-5 playing on the road.
