Lakewood, NJ (Sept. 5th, 2026) - Georgian Court Women's Soccer fell 1-0 to the Knights after a late 80th minute goal.
How it Happened
• Shots were close from both teams the Knights having 14 with just one on net, and the Lions with 12 and five on net.
• Corner kicks were even at five a piece.
• Queens lead with eight fouls compared to Georgian Courts four.
First Half
• Within the first 15 seconds of regulation, Queens applied the pressure and fired a shot that sailed high.
• Most of the half was a back-and-forth battle between the two teams.
• The Lions recorded six shots in the first half but were unable to find the back of the net.
Second Half
• Twenty minutes into the half, the Lions had a big opportunity off a foul.

Erynn Richey, whose shot struck the crossbar and nearly found the back of the net.
• Queens quickly answered back with a goal, but the score was called back due to an offside.
• Two minutes later, Ashley Kieblesz put Queens on the board, giving them a 1-0 advantage.
• The Lions scrambled for the next 10 minutes in search of an equalizer but ultimately ran out of time.
