Ruben Valencia joins the Georgian Court University men's soccer coaching staff as goalkeeper coach for 2020-21..
A native of Colombia, Valencia played professionally with Athletic Bucaramaga and Independiente Medellin.
Coach Raso is excited to have Ruben on staff as he brings 15 years of coaching experience to the program. “We are very thrilled to finally have an official goalkeeper trainer. Ruben is very accomplished and brings tons of energy to every training session. He comes with a great deal of knowledge and a vibrant coaching style that we encourage.”
Valencia is currently a member of the Players Development Academy (PDA) Shore staff and has spent time with Lakewood United Football Club and Xolos de Tijuana. Coach Valencia holds an “A” license from Columbia, as well as a NJ Youth license.
