Mike Murawski

Head Coach | 15th Season

Michael Murawski has been at the helm of the Women's Track and Field Program since January of 2013 and the Men's Track and Field Program since the team’s inception in the winter of 2014. While at Georgian Court, Murawski has led his teams to multiple Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) titles with the women winning eight-straight (2014-22) and the men securing six titles in seven years (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022). They each returned to the top of the conference with CACC Championships coming in 2026.

The men and women also earned their second East Coast Conference (ECC) Indoor Championship in 2020. The men extended their ECC Indoor Championship streak to four and have five ECC titles in all (2017, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023). The women also won the 2013 ECC Outdoor Conference Championship during their only outdoor season participating as a conference member.

In 2022, Murawski helped Georgian Court to their first ever CACC Men’s Cross Country Conference Championship. He was named the Coach of the Year on the men’s side for the first time in his career on the cross country course. He nearly repeated the feat, but took second place in 2023 at the conference meet.

Coach Murawski joined the Lions after serving as the Head Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania where he developed two Honorable Mention All-Americans, 14 NCAA Division II Provisional Qualifiers, and 113 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifiers.

A former NCAA Division I multi-event track and field student-athlete and captain at Duquesne University, Michael went on to serve as the assistant track and field coach at his alma mater of Holy Cross High School in Delran, N.J. before beginning his tenure at West Chester.

Michael, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Duquesne, and a Master of Science in Sports Management from California University (PA), is a USATF Level II certified collegiate coach.

Originally from Cinnaminson, NJ, Murawski, his wife, Ashley, currently reside in Woodstown, NJ with their son and daughter.

His staff has developed one individual national champion, seven NCAA All-Americans, and 78 NCAA qualifiers.
