GCU Athletics

Having set in motion the transformation of Georgian Court athletics almost single-handedly, the Lions of today have Judy Casey's vision and dedication to thank for the opportunities made available to GCU student-athletes.

Remembering the days of substandard facilities and limited competition, Judy not only coached virtually every sport, but also enhanced the athletics atmosphere at Georgian Court.

From the powder-blue "Courtiers" of yesteryear to laying the groundwork for the blue and gold pride of the modern-day Lions, she added scholarship opportunities, national competition, and a coaching staff as Georgian Court's first athletic director.
