Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University women's volleyball squad, coming off a Friday night sweep of Wilmington University, returned to the Wellness Center Arena Saturday for a straight-set sweep of visiting Concordia (N.Y.) College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.

The Lions, winners of two straight (2-11, 2-2 CACC), curbed the Clippers with wins of 25-16, 25-17, 25-17. Concordia slips to 0-3 (0-2 CACC) with the defeat.

Jasmine Martin and Peggy Rosario led the Lions with eight kills apiece, followed by Amy Bruno with seven. Ashley Pierson distributed 15 assists while Jackie Sweeney dished 11 helpers. Gaby Merced and Rosario tied with a match-best nine digs each.

GCU looks to make it three straight victories on Wednesday evening when the Lions host Nyack College in CACC play. Start time is set for 6:00 p.m.
