Lakewood, N.J.- Georgian Court University, in its first action since Saturday's thrilling CACC triumph at Jefferson, returned home Monday night and defeated visiting Lincoln University, 3-0, in non-conference women's volleyball action.

The Lions needed exactly 60 minutes to secure the victory as GCU rattled off a straight-set triumph (25-10, 25-17, 25-14) to earn their fourth consecutive win and improve to 19-8 on the year.

Georgian Court registered a healthy .347 hitting percentage as a team, slamming 49 kills (15 errors) on 98 total attempts. First year sensation, Grace Fenn, continues to shine as the freshman paced the Lions with 11 kills. Leah Wieland contributed seven kills of her own while Aubrey Binkley and Faith Kobel each added six apiece.

Trilby Kite and Ashley Pierson each dished 14 assists in the win, followed by Jaime Sweeney with 10 helpers. Paula Cespedes saw extended playing time and made the most of the opportunity, controlling a match-best nine digs.

GCU now looks forward to Wednesday night when the Lions play their regular-season home finale vs. the University of the Sciences at 6:00 p.m. The team will honor seniors Peggy Rosario and Jessica Sipili prior to the match.
