Wilmington, Del.-
Matt Ringel opened the Central Collegiate Athletic Conference portion of the 2018-19 schedule the same way he kicked off the campaign back on November 9 ... with a double-double ... as the junior netted 12 points and grabbed 11 boards in Georgian Court University's 72-46 setback at Goldey-Beacom College.
With the loss, the Lions slide to 1-8 (0-1 overall) while the Lightning improve to 2-5 (1-0 CACC) with the divisional triumph.
Sean Barksdale, in his second game of the year, came within a point and a rebound of his own double-double effort while
Caleb Bowser poured in his team-leading 15 points for Georgian Court.
Mahir Johnson (Sr.-Chester, Pa.) topped the victors with 15 points of his own.
Dwayne Dixon (Jr.-Newark, N.J.) followed with 14 points and team-best eight boards while
Corey Taite (Sr.-Sayreville, N.J.) and
Giovanni Jones (Fr.-Norfolk, Va.) contributed 13 and 10 points, respectively.
Georgian Court does not return to the hardwood again until Wednesday, December 19 (8:00 p.m.) when the Lions travel to Chestnut Hill College for a second-straight CACC divisional contest.
