Box Score Lakewood, N.J. - A dose of home cooking seemed to have done Georgian Court well Saturday as the Lions, after dropping two contests in Florida earlier this week, returned to the win column Saturday afternoon with a 15-10 defeat of Kutztown University in women's lacrosse action. The contest marked the home-opener for GCU, now 2-4 after the victory.

Taylor Bauerband led the charge for the victors, netting a team-best six goals in the effort. Arianna Quinlan enjoyed a hat trick while Angelina Palermo and Xena Valenzuela each added two goals apiece.

Amber Neumann continues to shine in goal for Georgian Court as the junior registered 15 saves on the day.

The Lions lay low until Tuesday when they welcome Edinboro University (Pa) to campus. First draw is slated for 3:30 p.m.
