Lakewood, N.J. - Georgian Court University remains undefeated in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's soccer competition as the Lions coasted to a 5-1 defeat of Dominican College Saturday on Investors Bank Field.
The win pushes the Lions' conference mark to 4-0 on the year (5-3 overall) and extends GCU's regular-season conference winning streak to 17, which dates back to the 2016 campaign. The visiting Lady Chargers fall to 1-6-1 (1-3-1 CACC).
Heather Arbachesky paced the Georgian Court offense with two goals on the afternoon. The senior kicked off the contest with her fifth of the season just 6:08 into match before heading home a
Krystal Hund corner kick at 64:08 to cap the multi-goal effort.
Hund also provided the helper on
Anissia Fucci's second goal of the season as the junior one-timed a cross in the 19th-minute (18:47) for Georgian Court's second goal of the match.
Michaella Paradiso (56:04) and
Marin Kulenguski (57:37) also registered GCU tallies in the rout.
The home team posted a 24-6 shot column advantage, including a 15-3 shots-on-goal surplus.Â
Natalie Axelsson (4-2) earned the victory in net for the Lions, collecting two saves in her 45:00 of action.
GCU now prepares for Wednesday afternoon when they host rival-Jefferson at 3:30 p.m.
