Bronxville, N.Y. - The Georgian Court University shutout streak has reached three straight games as the Lions breezed to a 7-0 victory at Concordia College Saturday afternoon in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) season-opener for both squads.
Seven different Lions found the back of the net in the GCU triumph.
Louis Silva, the reigning CACCÂ Player of the Week, registered his team-leading third tally and an assist in the blowout.
Joel Quist also contributed a goal and helper in the effort.
The game-winner came courtesy of
Nicholas Moran just 5:57 into the game when the sophomore slipped in a Silva feed for his first collegiate goal.
Christian Casciano also netted his first career tally, which represented the Lions' seventh-and-final goal of the day at 81:17.

Javel Dawkins (56:13) and
Alexander Clark (75:12) also caught the fever with scoring contributions. GCU dominated the shots column with a 23-8 surplus (14-1 on goal).
Jamie Hickey, the current CACCÂ Goalkeeper of the Week and United Soccer Coaches Division II Player of the Week after blanking #13 Adelphi and #16 West Chester a week ago, completed his third straight complete-game shutout needing just one save on this day to secure the win.
Georgian Court (3-1, 1-0 CACC) looks to make it four in a row Tuesday afternoon when the Lions host Chestnut Hill College on Investors Bank Field at 3:30 p.m.
