Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University men's soccer developmental squad continues its stellar play as the reserve Lions improved to an unblemished 3-0-2 record after Monday's 3-0 home win vs. Lancaster Bible College.
Following a scoreless first half,
Matthew DeJesus slotted in a nifty
Nick Heim helper for the first goal of the game.
Logan Romero then nailed a shot from just inside the 18 (courtesy of an
Adam DiPasquale pass) to put the home team ahead, 2-0.
Jonathan Finocchiaro provided the third-and-final tally when he ripped an
Emilio Arrubarrena pass over the keeper's head from about 25 yards out to secure the GCU win.
Angel Guerrero-Salgado registered the goalkeeping victory for the Lions as the sophomore played the entire second half in frame for the victors.
GCU will next see action Wednesday afternoon with a 3:30 p.m. home tilt scheduled vs. Union County College.
