Pleasantville, N.Y.- Playing its third match over the past 24 hours (and fourth of the week) Georgian Court University looked as energized as ever as the Lions pushed past Pace University (25-22, 25-23, 25-22) Sunday afternoon in NCAA Division II women's volleyball non-conference action.
The victory, GCU's fifth-straight, improves the Lions to 10 games over .500 at 14-4 on the year. The host-Setters slide to 1-14 on the season.
Kinsy Haschke floored a match-best 14 kills in the victory, marking the sophomore's sixth-straight match with 10 or more kills.
Shana Rayside followed with nine of her own to go along with a game-high five blocks.
Jaime Sweeney distributed a majority of the assists for the victors as she dished 18 overall on the day.
Emily McCurley patrolled the Georgian Court back line en route to leading all players with 20 digs.
Georgian Court returns to action Thursday evening when they host University of the Sciences (6:00 p.m.) in CACC play.
