Lakewood, N.J. - Soaked to the bone throughout the day, Georgian Court University made it rain in the scoring column as the Lions netted a season-high five tallies in an impressive 5-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference home win vs. Goldey-Beacom College (4-3-2, 3-1-1 CACC).
Erin Wimmer kicked off the offensive performance for GCU with her third of the year just 3:45 into the contest. With the score tied at 1-1,
Kaitlin Lister poured in her fifth of the season at 20:24 to give the home team a 2-1 advantage headed into intermission.

Jenna Fannon (Sr.-Newark, Del.) tied the affair at 2-2 at 53:47 with her second tally (10th of the year) of the contest before
Krystal Hund gathered a
Shannon McRory feed and deposited the eventual game-winner for GCU (6th of season).
McRory (82:52) added her first collegiate goal, followed by
Aliya Canfield's fourth of the year (86:45) to close out the triumph. Georgian Court dominated the shots column, 28-10, including an 11-5 advantage on frame.
Alyssa Dias earned the goalkeeping victory for the Lions, grabbing three saves over 90:00.
Georgian Court (5-4-1, 3-1-1 CACC) now travels to Nyack College this Saturday (12:00 p.m.) for another key CACC contest. Â
