Lakewood, N.J. - Playing the final home regular-season tilt of 2019, Georgian Court University topped visiting Bloomfield College, 2-0, Saturday afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's soccer .

The win represents the Lions' eighth-straight as GCU improves to 12-4-1 (9-1-1 CACC) on the year. The Bears drop to 1-15-1 (0-10-1 CACC).

Neither squad presented any sense of urgency to find the back of the net as the foes played 77 scoreless minutes before the match's first tally. Georgian Court's Kaitlin Lister took matters into her own hands as the senior snapped the stalemate at 77:43 when she sent in her sixth of the season (assisted by Kieran Lees) from 30 yards out. 

GCU's second-and-final score came a little over ten minutes later (87:51) when Anissia Fucci collected her fourth of the year, courtesy of a Bethany Feinstein helper. Despite the lack of scoring, there certainly was no shot shortage in the contest with the victors owning a 28-4 advantage (16-4 on frame).

Anetha Jenkins continues to marvel in the Lions' net as the sophomore improved to 6-0 on the year with four saves in her 86:59 of action.

Georgian Court now prepares for its regular-season finale as the Lions visit Jefferson Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. The winner earns the top seed in the upcoming CACC Championship Tournament.
