Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University men's basketball squad closed out the home portion of its 2018-19 calendar Wednesday as the Lions fell Goldey-Beacom College, 89-52, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference divisional action.
Aside from the first 2:51 of the contest, the visiting Lighting owned the lead, a surplus that grew to as high as 44 points (82-38) with 5:02 remaining in regulation.
Marcellus Livingston (So.-Linden, N.J.) and
Corey Taite (Sr.-Sayreville, N.J.) topped GBC with 29 and 24 points, respectively, while
Mahir Johnson (Sr.-Chester, Pa.) came off the bench to bury 17 points of his own in the road win.
Caleb Bowser drained 19 in the setback to record his 22nd double-digit scoring effort in 23 games played this season.
The Lions (4-23, 3-15 CACC) prepare of the season finale this Saturday afternoon with a 3:30 p.m. conference game at Felician University.
