Lakewood, N.J. - The Georgian Court University men's lacrosse program is pleased to announce that
Lucas Iarossi of Wall Township, N.J. will join the Lions this fall to complete the final two years of his collegiate eligibility.
The 5'7" attack joins the Lions after spending the last two campaigns with Brookdale Community College (Lincroft, N.J.) where he was team captain and the Jersey Blues' leading scorer in 2019.
"We are very excited to have Lucas, another distinguished junior college player, come into our program here at GCU," stated Head Coach
Mickey Hover. "Like predecessors
Jeff Galatola ('18),
Michael Saladino ('18) and
Patrick Quinn ('19), Lucas joins us after tremendous success at the community college ranks. Lucas's ability to play with both hands, use his speed to get his hands free, and ability to draw a slide is important to our offense."
A former All-Division second team and Senior All-Star team selection at Wall Township High School, Iarossi chose Georgian Court "because I found it to fit me best athletically, as well as academically, with the perk of the campus being so close to home."
