Worcester, Mass.- A late first-half tally (43:02) by Morgan Jameson (So.-Stratham, N.H.) was all the Greyhounds needed as Assumption College turned its 1-0 advantage into a shutout triumph over visiting Georgian Court University in non-conference women's soccer action.

Allie Perry (So.-Richmond, R.I.) registered the goalkeeping decision for the victors with three saves over 90 minutes. Alyssa Dias secured a pair of denials in her complete-game effort for the Lions. 

The Greyhounds (3-0), who have yet to allow a goal in three contests this season, out-shot GCU by an 11-7 margin.

Georgian Court (2-3) will now kick off Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition Saturday with a 5:15 p.m. visit to Dominican College.
