Lakewood, N.J. - Competing in front of some of the great Lions of yesteryear, Georgian Court University volleyball kicked off Reunion & Homecoming with flair as GCU dismissed divisional-rival, Jefferson, by a 3-1 score (25-15, 25-13, 17-25, 25-18) Saturday morning.
Kinsy Haschke shined the brightest as the sophomore transfer paced the victors with a double-double performance consisting of 17 kills and 15 digs.
Kayla Wilson and
Shana Rayside each floored eight kills apiece while the latter also collected three blocks.
Emily McCurley led all players with her 21 digs.
Ashley Pierson distributed 20 assists. Teammate,
Jaime Sweeney, shared 18 helpers of her own.
The Lions (11-4, 10-4, 3-1) remain idle until Wednesday night when Georgian Court treks to Goldey-Beacom College for another CACC divisional match. Start time is 7pm.
