Wilmington, Del. - Georgian Court University suffered a 5-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference setback Tuesday at Goldey-Beacom College as the Lions lost to the Lightning for the first time since Oct. 26, 2005.

GBC (5-6, 3-4 CACC) enjoyed a fruitful first half by pouring in four tallies prior to intermission. The Lions (3-8, 2-4 CACC), coming into the contest with a 20-3 record (and a 17-game winning streak) vs. its conference foe, mustered only three shots (one shot-on-goal) in the setback.

The royal-and-gold returns home to host Caldwell University in a Homecoming Day showdown this Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
