Newark, Del. - Georgian Court University's modest two-game winning streak came to an end Thursday afternoon as the Lions lost at Wilmington University, 4-0, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's soccer action.

Two goals in the first half, and another pair of tallies in the second, provided plenty of cushion for Wilmington as the Wildcats improve to 9-4-2 (6-2-1 CACC) with the victory. GCU drops to 5-9 (4-5 CACC) with the setback. The home team out-shot the Lions by a healthy margin of 19-4 (10-2 on frame) in the win.

The royal-and-gold returns to campus to host Nyack College Saturday afternoon at 12:00 p.m. in another CACC match-up.
