Lakewood, N.J.- One day removed from his selection as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week, Georgian Court University's
Devin Bell added an additional accolade to his resume Tuesday afternoon as the junior attack earned a spot on the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association's (USILA) Division II Team of the Week for his stellar play.
The Calgary, Alberta native netted five goals in the Lions' Saturday season opener vs. Lake Erie College. Bell found the back of the net twice in the first half, and three more times in the second (including the game-winner at the 13:48 mark of the fourth period), in leading GCU to a 12-8 come-from-behind victory over the visiting Storm. The five goals currently place Devin atop the CACC rankings.
