Clint Wright Jr. Collects 27 for Third-Straight Game With 25+ Points in Saturday Conference Contest at Felician

Rutherford, N.J. - Clint Wright, Jr. netted his second-straight 27-point scoring effort, and third-consecutive outing with 25+ points, as the sophomore paced the Lions' offense in Saturday's 90-75 setback at Felician University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) inter-divisional men's basketball action.

Wright, a native of Suffolk, Va., also drained a game-high 27 in Tuesday's 79-78 overtime home loss vs. divisional rival, Chestnut Hill College. Shooting 10-of-14 from the floor, the Lions' top player this season also went a perfect 5-for-5 from the charity stripe in his 34 total minutes. Three other members of the royal-and-gold notched double-digit scoring efforts, including Donavin Crawford and Shane Williams with 11 apiece and Davon Floyd with 10 on the afternoon.

Jay'von Jackson (R-Jr., Plainfield, N.J.) topped the victors with 21 points (seven three-pointers) in just 18 minutes off the Felician bench. Jaylen Colon (R-Jr., Paterson, N.J.) followed with 20 points in his 29 minutes. Justin Davis (R-Jr., Jersey City, N.J.) compiled a double-double consisting of 12 points and 12 boards while Nas Amos (R-So., Newark, N.J.) dropped in 14 points in 30 minutes.

Felician never trailed in the contest en route to the Golden Falcons' eighth victory (8-4, 3-1 CACC) of the season. GCU dropped its seventh-straight, falling to 2-13 (1-6 CACC).

GCU now sits idle until next Saturday, Jan. 22 when they host Nyack College at 2:00 p.m. in another CACC contest.
