ORANGEBURG, NY (Oct 21, 2022) - With their playoff hopes on the line, Georgian Court men's soccer traveled to Dominican looking for a win over the Chargers. Dominican drew first blood, but the Lions evened things in the second half. Neither team was able to add a second though in the 1-1 final.

Sebastian Derflinger that sailed high.
• Despite the one-sided time of possession, the score was still 0-0 at the break. All it took for Dominican was one opportunity in the second half and they took advantage and the lead.Â
• With a corner kick opportunity, Dominican's Maximino Casares Martintez used his head to put in the games first goal less than four minutes into the half.Â
• Following the goal, Georgian Court went back on the offensive attack. They had another scoring chance in the 56th minute with three corner kicks.
Robert Tapp put a shot towards the net that was blocked and an offsides killed the threat.
• Dominican nearly made it a 2-0 game, but Gkosdis came up with four saves in less than 60 seconds.
• Getting towards the middle of the half, Georgian Court finally beat Arteaga in the 65th minute.
Noah Hamouda scored with an assist from Cotter who put a beautiful cross into the box.
• Over the final 25 minutes, GCU tested Arteaga three more times, including once in the 88th minute on
