Philadelphia, Pa. - Five Lions achieved double-digit shooting performances Thursday night, but it proved to not be quite enough in the end as Georgian Court University found itself on the wrong end of a 78-58 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference divisional decision at Jefferson.
The Rams (13-4, 9-1 CACC) led from start to finish, heading into intermission with a 35-30 advantage before developing a game-high 24-point surplus (78-54) with 1:42 remaining in regulation.
Davon Floyd, in 29 minutes off the GCU bench, netted a team-high 13 points for the road team.
Clint Wright, Jr. followed with yet another 10+ point effort, this time with 11 points in 32 minutes.

Shane Williams each poured in 10 points apiece for the royal-and-gold.
Erik Timko (Audubon, Pa.) enjoyed a solid showing for the victors as the freshman topped the Rams with 23 total points.
Antonin Kemkeng (So.-Lille, France) authored a double-double consisting of 15 points and 11 boards.
Deondre Bourne (Jr.-Brooklyn, N.Y.) hit for 18 points, including a perfect 4-for-4 from the three-point arc.Â
Things do not get easier for Georgian Court (4-17, 3-10 CACC) as the Lions prepare to host #22 (D2SIDA) Dominican College this Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
