Lakewood, N.J. - Head Coach Samantha Hosford announced today that Natalie Moradian of Freehold Township, N.J. is the newest member of the Georgian Court University Women's Lacrosse Class of 2026.

"We are thrilled to add Natalie to our roster this upcoming season," stated Coach Hosford. "Natalie is an agile goalkeeper who has a keen eye in the cage. She is going to flourish working under rising senior, Alexis Hahn. Natalie is communicative, reads the ball well, and has a quick step to attackers shooting the ball. We are looking forward to seeing Natalie in net in '23 as she continues to improve on these key components."

An acclaimed two-sport student-athlete at Freehold Township High School, Moradian achieved selection to the Shore Conference Class-A North Second Team. Also a standout keeper on the field hockey roster, Natalie earned Class-A North First Team honors and was named one of Top-100 field hockey seniors in New Jersey. The star net-minder recorded 200+ saves in both sports.

Gifted with a multitude of talents, the National Honor Society inductee is a member of the International Thespian Society, a four-year All-Shore Choir honoree, AND the lead in her school's musical! An entertainer at heart, Natalie is the reigning two-year winner of the Freehold Township High School Talent Show.

"I really liked the atmosphere and the location (of GCU)," said Moradian. "Since Georgian Court is very close to home, I am able to be with my friends and family as I pursue my education." Natalie plans to major in exercise science & wellness upon arrival on campus this fall as she continues her goal of becoming an athletic trainer for a professional sports team.

A four-year high honor roll student at Shrewsbury High School, the business administration major (and future business owner) is ready to "showcase" her talents and "become a better lacrosse player" when she joins the royal-and-gold this fall.
