LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 26, 2023) - Georgian Court Men's Lacrosse senior Daniel Burnham was honored by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) with an All-Region selection for his outstanding 2023 season.

Burnham made the USILA North All-Region Team as an honorable mention at midfield. The two-time CACC First Team selection is now the first Lion to ever receive multiple USILA All-Region awards.  

This season, Burnham was a First Team All-CACC midfielder who finished second on the Lions this season with 59 points. He scored 32 goals while matching a career-best 27 assists. Burnham helped out on defense as well with 32 ground balls and five caused turnovers. He scored at least two goals in nine games and reached multiple points in 15. For the last three seasons, Burnham has reached double-figures in goals, assists and ground balls and had 30+ goal and ground ball seasons in 2022 and 2023.

Burnham leaves Georgian Court as the all-time leader in points with 181. He also became the second Lion to ever score 100 goals in a career, finishing at 103 with 78 career assists. He is the only Lion to be in the all-time top-five in goals, assists and ground balls and one of just two Lions with 100 points and 100 ground balls.
