Previously vs. Goldey-Beacom
• It wasn't all that long ago that these two teams met. They met the day before Halloween, less than two weeks ago, a 3-1 Lions win.
• This is a very close series history between these two. Georgian Court took the all-time series lead, 5-4-3 with their win in October.
• Of late, GCU is unbeaten against the Lightning in their last five at 3-0-2.
• Goldey-Beacom got on the board first after almost a scoreless first 30 minutes.
• They looked like they would take the lead into the half, but Jack Pollintine-Smith scored with 90 seconds left to draw even.
Alessandro Cavallini and Gijs van Eif each scored in the second half to put the game away 3-1 in favor of GCU.

Last Time Out
• Georgian Court needed a late goal to pull out a win in their regular season finale against Chestnut Hill.
• The Lions got on the board early with a goal from Gijs van Eif, but that was evened up before the end of the half.
• The score was still tied at one until the 78th minute when Mikey Mallon's free kick into the box bounced around until Vitor Antelo lifted a shot up high into the net to score the game-winner.
• That win clinched the No. 2 seed for the Lions, matching a program-best for CACC wins in a season.

Individual Milestones
• Gijs van Eif needs two points to become the fourth Lion to ever score 40 points in a career and the third Lion to ever reach 30 in a single-season.
• Also moving up that career goals list is David Tuschmann. He's one goal away from 10 which would tie him for 10th in Lions history.
• Another shutout from Ayendi Batista will give him five which will be second-most for a single-season in Lions history and fourth for a career. He's also one win away from breaking the single-season wins mark with 11.
• Svante Haakansson needs two points for 20.
• Mikey Mallon is two assists away from the Lions single-season record. Two more will also move him into second place on the career list and he's two points away from 20.

CACC Leaders (Based on NCAA Statistics)
• Gijs van Eif is second in the CACC with 26 points and 12 goals. Both of those rank in the top-10 nationally.
• Mikey Mallon is third in the league with 0.57 assists per game.
• Freshman Svante Haakansson is in the top-10 in the CACC in points and goals.
• Ayendi Batista is fifth in the CACC with a .767 save percentage.
• The Lions' 1.61 assists per game and 30 total assists are in the top-five in the conference.

Who's Hot?
• Ayendi Batista is 10-2 in his last 12 games with 13 goals allowed in that span.
• Gijs van Eif has goals in 11 of his last 15 and points in seven of nine.
• Svante Haakansson has 11 points in his last eight games.
• Vitor Antelo recorded his first assist of the season against Post and his first goal against Chestnut Hill.
Mikey Mallon returned with an assist at Chestnut Hill. He has assisted in five of his last six games, and the only outlier he left after just 11 minutes played.

CACC Tournament
• The biggest difference entering the postseason is the presence of overtime. If the two teams are tied after 90 minutes, there will be two 10-minute overtime periods with a golden goal scoring the game-winner. If the game is still tied, the match will go to penalty kicks.
• The winner of the CACC Tournament will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA East Regional Tournament.
• The Lions have won one CACC Tournament championship. That came in 2016.
• All-time in CACC Tournament games, the Lions are 5-6-3.
• The Lions and Lightning have met one time previously in the CACC Tournament. That came in 2019. Goldey-Beacom led 2-0 at the half, but the Lions scored four times in the second half and tied the match at four with a goal in the 82nd minute. The Lions then won in nine rounds of a shootout to advance to the tournament semifinals.
