QUEENS, NY (Nov. 25, 2025) - Georgian Court Men's Soccer senior Mikey Mallon has earned another postseason award following his outstanding 2025 campaign. The midfielder from Glasgow, Scotland made the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-East Region Second Team. 

The D2CCA All-Region teams are voted on by the Sports Information Directors in each region. Georgian Court competes in the East Region along with the rest of the CACC teams and the ECC and Northeast-10 Conferences. Mallon is one of eight players from the CACC to make the All-Region team.

With this award, Mallon becomes the seventh Lion to earn All-Region recognition. It's the second season in a row that the Lions have a student-athlete on the D2CCA All-Region Team. Gijs van Eif was selected as an All-East Region forward last year.

As a senior, Mallon was pressed into becoming more of a scoring threat late in the season after injuries took their toll on the Georgian Court offense. He responded by setting a new career-high with five goals and finished the year with one assist and 11 total points. Mallon recorded his first collegiate brace at home against Dominican, scoring a pair, including one a free kick from midfield to put the game away.

For the second straight season Mallon earned First Team All-Conference honors. He's one of just four Lions to make multiple All-CACC First Teams and one of three to do so in consecutive seasons.
