LAKEWOOD, NJ (Feb. 24, 2024) - Georgian Court Men's Basketball took on the leaders of the CACC South Division in Jefferson Saturday afternoon in Lakewood. The Lions struggled early as the Rams went up big and were able to cruise to a 93-71 win.

First Half
• The half really put the Lions in a big hole. They were just 7-24 as the Rams jumped out to a 48-20 lead.

• After the Rams scored the first four points in the game, GCU came back with five straight, taking a 5-4 lead on an
Amari Jones three-pointer.
• Erik Timko answered with a three and that 18 seconds was the only time GCU held the lead.
• Down 10, 20-10 after a
Clint Wright, Jr. three-pointer, things got out of hand for the Lions as Jefferson scored nine straight. They were 3-3 from the floor, 2-2 at the line while Georgian Court turned the ball over three straight times.
• The Rams continued to pour it on and led 48-20 at intermission.
Second Half
• The Lions came out like a different team in the second. They outscored Jefferson 51-45 and shot 62% making 18-29 in the half.
• For as hot as the Lions were, Jefferson did enough to maintain a big lead. The Rams still shot 55% themselves and despite GCU putting up 51, they were only able to make up six-points.
