Georgian Court Selected to Host 2025 CACC Women's Lacrosse Final

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (Aug. 5, 2024) – The 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Lacrosse Championship Final will be hosted by Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. on Saturday, May 10, 2025. 

Starting with the 2025 season, the CACC Women's Lacrosse Champion will earn an automatic spot in the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse East Region Tournament. The CACC Women's Lacrosse Championship was moved back a week later than usual to better align with the NCAA Championship.

The top-six teams in the regular season standings will advance to the CACC Championship. The conference championship starts Sunday, May 4, 2025 with two first-round matchups. These games will feature the third seed versus the sixth seed and the fourth seed versus the fifth seed. The winner of the #3/#6 game will play against the second seed while the #4/#5 game winner will face the top seed in the semifinals on Wednesday, May 7. The first round and semifinals will be at the sites of the highest seeds. The CACC championship banquet to honor the two teams in the finals and the season's all-conference and major award winners will be held on Friday, May 9 on the Georgian Court campus.

Georgian Court hopes to get back to the top after winning five CACC Championships in a row from 2017 to 2022. 

Admission for all rounds of the championship is $10 for adults and $5 for children, seniors and college students with a valid school ID. The CACC Network will broadcast all rounds of the championship.
