Previously vs. American International
• These teams have met three previous times including last season, a 3-2 Lions win in Lakewood.
• This is the first time GCU and AIC will go head-to-head in back-to-back seasons.
• All-time the Lions are 1-2 against American International, suffering losses in 2014 and 2018.
• A year ago, all five goals were scored in a wild second half.

Joseph Ficarotta scored 10 minutes apart to give the Lions a 2-0 lead.

• The Yellow Jackets scored their second penalty kick goal in the 83rd minute but got no closer in the 3-2 GCU win.
Previously vs. Holy Family
• Holy Family has had the Lions number of late. They've won four straight over GCU and evened up the all-time series 6-6-1.
• Georgian Court's last win came in the shortened spring 2021 season. The Lions haven't scored more than one goal on the Tigers in any of those four losses.
• Last year at home, GCU surrendered a goal in each half of a 2-1 loss.
• Gijs van Eif scored with 13 seconds left to avoid the shutout, but the Tigers still walked away with the win.

• For the third straight game, GCU scored first and in the the first 11 minutes. Against Jefferson in the CACC opener it was
Svante Haakansson who potted the game's first goal.
• The Lions twice took the lead, but gave it right back to the Rams, whose two second-half goals were the different in a 3-2 loss.

Michael Clarke has the record with 10 goals in his first 20 games. He also needs just one more to enter the Lions all-time top-10 for goals scored.

• GCU will also have the luxury of welcoming the top teams in the CACC to Lakewood as the Lions host each of the top-four teams in the poll.
About American International
• American International, members of the Northeast-10 are making their way through the CACC to start the season.
• Saturday marks their fourth game of the season with all four coming against CACC opponents.
• The Yellow Jackets are currently 0-2-1, having lost by one to Post and Bridgeport and drawing even with Wilmington.
• AIC will also be the more well rested team having not played since last Saturday.
• Christian Torres is the only Yellow Jacket with multiple goals. He has two and a team-best four points.

About Holy Family
• After being shutout in each of their first three games, the Tigers have gone 1-0-1 and stand at 1-3-1 on the season.
• The draw came in their match against Bentley, who the Lions also played to a draw on opening weekend.
• Holy Family has scored just two goals and surrendered 14. Ever Maradiaga and Tajhay Williams have each scored for HFU.
• Luke Shank has started each of the last two games for HFU. He's made 15 saves with a .789 save percentage allowing just 1.56 goals against average this season.
