RUTHERFORD, NJ (Oct.19th,2025) - With only ten minutes remaining in the match, the Lions conceded an 80th-minute goal that ultimately proved to be the difference, resulting in a hard-fought 1-0 loss on the road to Felician.
How it Happened
• The first half saw a balanced battle between the two sides, with GCU slightly edging the shot count at 4-3.
• Felician had the best opportunity of the first half in the final seconds when
Kalina Stanisic unleashed a shot toward the bottom right corner, but GCU's goalkeeper,
Delaine Wilkinson, made a crucial save to keep the score level.
• Georgian Court earned six corner kicks during the match but was unable to convert any of into goals. Felician did not have one corner throughout the game.
• The second half remained evenly contested, with GCU taking six shots to Felician's five.
• With ten minutes left, Felician scored on a quick give-and-go.
