How it Happened
• The Lions dominated early, taking eight first-half shots compared to Goldey-Beacom's four.
• The Lions also were able to hold the Lightning to only one corner for the half while getting three for themselves.

Despite these statistics, Goldey-Beacom was on the board first.
Ryley Dixon had her eighth goal of the season to put the Lightning up 1-0 in 21 minutes.
• The Lions answered not too long after.
Julia Eichenbaum weaved through the defense just ten minutes later to tie the game.
• Both teams had an aggressive second half. GCU had eight shots in the game compared to Goldey-Beacom's six.
